One possibility is: A transceiver (TX) optical transmitter port is bad, because B transceiver optical port (RX) receiving optical signals;
Another possibility is: A transceiver (TX) port of the optical transmitter optical fiber link of this problem (or light jumper cable may be broken).
c, twisted pair (TP) indicator is not lit, make sure the connection is wrong or twisted pair connection is wrong? Please use the continuity tester testing; (twisted pair transceiver, but some indicators such as fiber-optic link to be connected after the light, see the website of the optical transceiver IMC Commissioning Manual)
d, some transceiver has two RJ45 ports: (To HUB) that connect the switch cable is a direct line; (To Node) that connect the switch cable is cross-line;

Optical transceiver or optical modules under normal circumstances, the luminous power: Multi-mode:-10db - 18db between; single 20 km:-8db - 15db between; single-mode 60 km:-5db - 12db between ; If the power light-emitting optical fiber transceiver in:-30db - 45db between, then the transceiver can determine the problem.
